“ONCE YOU’VE WRESTLED, EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE IS EASY.” – DAN GABLE

Growing up in the West Grove, Pennsylvania area I spent a lot of time outdoors. I credit my father for my appreciation of nature, the outdoors, and the environment, which he instilled in me at a very young age. My father and I would spend hours together outside fishing, hunting and just enjoying time together.

As I grew older, I got involved in other sports. I enjoyed playing baseball and wrestling throughout high school and continued wrestling into and throughout my college career.

Wrestling proved to be a very important part of my life. The demands of the sport, the skills I learned, and the confidence I gained as a young wrestler provided a strong foundation for my personal and professional life.

As a high school wrestling coach of 30 years (25 years as head coach) I am always proud to meet a new wrestler who is willing to commit to the sport, accept the demand of training, and then develop into the best version of themselves.

In my newest adventure with BSTI, I have come full circle and will once again have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors while also being a part of a dedicated team. While I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my wife Kimi and our three dogs, Hank, Shiloe and Lucky. And, when possible, fishing, hunting and other outdoor activities.
