I REMAIN IN AWE OF THE NATURAL WORLD.
Whether I was exploring the forests and streams around our house, splitting firewood in the yard or working on a local horse farm, I was always happiest outside when growing up. Immersing myself in the sights and sounds of the natural world inspires me and provides me with a daily reminder that we are a small part of something far greater than ourselves.
To protect the natural world and its resources remains a guiding force in my life. In the past, I’ve been involved in wetland restoration and multiple tree planting projects along with various environmental education programs with local schools.
My environmental assessment work at BSTI and knowledge of state remedial regulations affords me the opportunity to evaluate the environmental status of a piece of property and provide thoughtful solutions to meet the needs of clients. Wading through wetland waters or large flowing rivers to obtain scientific data is admittedly enjoyable and equally rewarding because the work being done will serve to enhance the health of these ecosystems for generations to come.
My personal life consists of daily adventures around the farm with my dogs. I enjoy spending my time beekeeping, raising ducks, farming and sitting on the porch playing my guitar. I also have a passion for ice hockey, skiing, mountain climbing, biking and kayaking.
